Snapcount is a joint venture with 3V.
Snapcount is a new way of reducing fraud and controlling spend and usage at a cardholder level. It is applicable for Credit, Debit, Corporate and Pre-paid card products.
If the bank could have a 30 second conversation with the cardholder every time there was a transaction there would never be any fraud, obviously this could never happen. Snapcount attempts to get closer to that dialogue.
For the Cardholder
I don’t have a PC I have told my bank I will never use my card online, how can I guarantee that I will no be inconvenienced by internet fraud?
Why cannot I instruct my bank that I will never withdraw cash from ATM with my credit card outside of the UK?
Can I tell my bank that I will be in holiday in Spain for two weeks so I can avoid constant referrals but also ensure that my card is protected from use in other countries?
Can I have a text alert for Cardholder Not Present transactions over 50 pounds?
Can I buy a prepaid product for my son but ensure he cannot use it for Internet Gambling or anything else I do not approve of?
For Corporate Credit Controllers
Can I ensure that my procurement team avoid constant referrals by allowing large unusual purchases?
Can I block my cardholders from booking flights with anyone other than the approved airline list?
Can I prevent corporate card use at a weekend or after 7pm at night?
Can I have an alert for every transaction for a card I define in real-time?
